Inspect and clean the drain box

Clean the individual grids carefully without overloading the cells

Ensure the grid is clean and dry before weighing the filter holder

Avoid contact with dirt before placing the filter holder

Was the grid cleaned and dried before placing the filter holder?

Be careful to avoid water dripping on the scale and its electrical components

Activate the cleaning cycle by toggling the handle on the assigned position

Monitor the tap screen for automatic cycling of the pump

Run a steady stream of water through the brewhead after the cycle

Re-insert the blind filter and run the automatic cleaning cycle again

Remove the filter during pauses, dump water, and re-insert before cycle resumes

Discard the first shot of espresso to season the brewhead

Cleaning groups and drain wells

Add detergent to blind filter and attach to group

Activate cleaning cycle by moving Tap Lever

Rinse group with hot water using normal filter

Prepare detergent solution by boiling

Submerge filters in boiled solution for 30 minutes

Rinse filters thoroughly with clean water

Run hot water through group with filters in place
