Is the refrigerator operating under dusty or greasy conditions?

Is there significant pet traffic in your home?

Use an extended vacuum attachment to clean the condenser coils

Use a condenser cleaning brush to remove dust build-up from the condenser coils

Clean exterior and handles with soap and water

Avoid using commercial household cleaners, ammonia, or alcohol on handles

Ensure no chloride is used on stainless steel surfaces

Clean stainless steel front and handles with non-abrasive soapy water and a dishcloth

Rinse with clean water and a soft cloth

Wipe stubborn spots with an ammonia-soaked paper towel, then rinse

Use a non-abrasive stainless steel cleaner and follow manufacturer's instructions

Unplug the refrigerator before replacing any light bulb

Wear gloves as protection against possible broken glass

Freezer Light Replacement (some models)

Unscrew and replace old bulb with an appliance bulb of the same wattage

Refrigerator Mid-Level Light Replacement

Vacuum dust from the front of the toe grille

Remove the toe grille (see illustration on page 4)

Vacuum the backside of the toe grille

Wipe with a sudsy cloth or sponge

Ensure refrigerator doors are closed for at least 8 to 12 hours before loading with food
