Ensure the unit is unplugged before starting maintenance

Check both filters for dirt and debris

Clean the filters using warm sudsy water or a soft brush vacuum

Determine if the filters need replacement due to inability to clean properly

Check outside hoods for blockages

Inspect for pollutants near the intake hood

Ensure outside hoods are clear of snow accumulation

Ensure the unit is unplugged before starting maintenance

Verify the unit is unplugged to prevent electrical shock

Run through the system and verify the different operating modes

Vacuum the inside of the unit carefully

Ensure no mechanical components or electrical connections are damaged during cleaning

Ensure the unit is unplugged before starting maintenance

Drain Pan and Drain Line Inspection

Check the drain pan for any cracks or damage

Inspect the drain line for blockages or leaks

Verify the connection of the drain line is secure

Clean the drain pan if necessary

Reattach any removed components

Ensure the unit is unplugged before starting maintenance

Carefully grip ends of core and pull evenly outward

Remove filters from the cabinet

Wash core in warm soapy water (do not use dishwasher)
