Warning: Ensure the UPS is turned off and unplugged before starting the procedure
UPS front cover removed
Two screws holding the internal battery connector removed and retained
Internal battery connector disconnected
Two screws holding the battery cover plate removed and retained
Battery cover plate removed and retained
Battery package slid out onto a flat, stable surface
New battery package slid into the cabinet
Battery cover plate replaced and screws reinstalled
New Battery Testing
Warning: Ensure the UPS is unplugged before starting the procedure
Enter the date when the UPS was plugged in for charging
Did the UPS charge for 48 hours?
Press any button to activate the menu option
Was the menu option activated?
Select CONTROL then START BATTERY TEST
Was the CONTROL and START BATTERY TEST selected?
The UPS starts a battery test if the batteries are fully charged, the UPS is in Normal mode with no active alarms, and the bypass voltage is acceptable
Did the UPS start a battery test?
6 Month Battery Service
Warning: Only trained personnel should perform this procedure
