1. Drain the fuel in the fuel tank completely, and wash out deposits and water collected inside the tank

- Replacement of air cleaner element

1. The element should be replaced referring to "Cleaning of air cleaner element" (See p.38)

1. Check on the rubber suspension whether it is damaged or deformed by the oil

NOTE: Contact distributor or our office to replace the rubber suspension, if necessary

- Check on nylon and rubber hose

1. Check on the nylon and rubber hose whether they are hardened or deteriorate

Warning: Ensure to wear safety goggles and gloves during the cleaning process

Upload a photo of the air cleaner element before cleaning

Is the air cleaner element damaged?

If the air cleaner element is damaged, replace it

Upload a photo of the new air cleaner element

If the element cover is not clean, wipe off the dirt

Is the element inserted completely and evenly?

If the element is not inserted correctly, reinsert it

Close the cock of the water separator, loosen the screw ring, and remove the element with the see-thru bowl

Element and bowl removed successfully?

Rinse the element and the bowl with diesel fuel

Element and bowl rinsed successfully?

After cleaning, reinstall the water separator, keeping out of dust and dirt

Water separator reinstalled successfully?

Discharge air in the fuel piping

NOTE: For details, refer to the instruction manual for the engine

NOTE: Using a 500V megger, make a check once a month to ensure that the insulation resistance is more than 1MQ

Disconnect the load side cable from the output terminal

Measure the insulation resistance between the output terminal bolt and the bonnet

NOTE: If the measured resistance is less than 1M S, it may cause electric leakage or fire accident

Wipe off dirt and oil on the output terminals, circuit breakers and generator leads (cables) and dry them thoroughly

Is the insulation resistance recovered after cleaning?

If the insulation resistance is not recovered after cleaning, provide details

Sign off on the generator insulation resistance check

Remove the engine oil drain plug and discharge oil completely. It can be discharged easily when the engine is warm

After engine oil is discharged, tighten the plug firmly

Charge new engine oil from the oil filler until it reaches the notched line of the 'H' on the dipstick

After engine oil is supplied, run the engine for a few minutes. Check that oil is supplied to the level between H and L

Sign off on the engine oil change
