250 Hourly / 1 Monthly Generator Insulation Resistance Check
NOTE: Using a 500V megger, make a check once a month to ensure that the insulation resistance is more than 1MQ
Disconnect the load side cable from the output terminal
Turn ON the circuit breaker
Measure the insulation resistance between the output terminal bolt and the bonnet
NOTE: If the measured resistance is less than 1M S, it may cause electric leakage or fire accident
Wipe off dirt and oil on the output terminals, circuit breakers and generator leads (cables) and dry them thoroughly
Is the insulation resistance recovered after cleaning?
If the insulation resistance is not recovered after cleaning, provide details
Sign off on the generator insulation resistance check
Initial 50 Hours Engine Oil Filter Cartridge Replacement
Warning: Ensure the engine is off and cool before starting the procedure
Cartridge removed using filter wrench
Filter base cleaned
New cartridge coated with thin engine oil
Cartridge mounted
Cartridge tightened from 3/4 to 1 turn using filter wrench after packing is fitted to the seal of the filter base
Engine run for a while after cartridge replacement
Oil level after running the engine
Sign off on the cartridge replacement
500 Hourly Fuel Filter Cartridge Replacement
Warning: Ensure the engine is off and cool before starting the procedure
Cartridge removed using filter wrench
Filter base cleaned
New cartridge coated with thin engine oil
Cartridge mounted and tightened 1/2 to 3/4 turns by hand
Air discharged in the fuel piping after cartridge replacement
Upload a photo of the replaced cartridge
Sign off on the cartridge replacement
500 Hourly Engine Oil Filter Cartridge Replacement
Warning: Ensure the engine is off and cool before starting the procedure
Cartridge removed using filter wrench
Filter base cleaned
New cartridge packing coated with thin engine oil
Cartridge mounted and tightened from 3/4 to 1 turn using filter wrench
Engine run for a while after cartridge replacement
Oil supply checked and is between H and L
Sign off on the cartridge replacement
1000 Hourly Diesel Generator Maintenance
- Cleaning inside of fuel tank
1. Drain the fuel in the fuel tank completely, and wash out deposits and water collected inside the tank
- Replacement of air cleaner element
1. The element should be replaced referring to "Cleaning of air cleaner element" (See p.38)
- Check on rubber suspension
1. Check on the rubber suspension whether it is damaged or deformed by the oil
NOTE: Contact distributor or our office to replace the rubber suspension, if necessary
- Check on nylon and rubber hose
1. Check on the nylon and rubber hose whether they are hardened or deteriorate
