Check the shipment against the bill of lading

Inspect the carton or crating of each unit for damage

Assure the carrier makes proper notation of any shortages or damage on all copies of the freight bill

Complete a common carrier inspection report for any damage or shortages

Was any concealed damage discovered during unloading?

Record the time of concealed damage discovery

Ensure the cabinet is elevated from the floor

Prepare a mild detergent solution

Apply the mild detergent to the cabinet surface

Wipe the cabinet with a clean cloth

Ensure no water remains on the cabinet surface

Ensure that electrical power to the unit is disconnected

Install the system with the supply hose connected directly to the return riser valve using a single length of flexible hose

System Filling and Air Bleeding

Open all air vents and fill the system with water without overflowing

Bleed all air from the system and pressurize it

Check the system for leaks and repair as appropriate

Use the manual air bleed valve at the top of the reheat coil for ClimaDry-equipped units

Gather necessary cleaning tools

Inspect the air coil for dirt accumulation

Brush or vacuum clean the air coil if dirty

Handle with care to avoid damaging aluminum fins

Is the system installed in an area with high mineral content (125 P.P.M. or greater)?

Is the piping known to have high dirt or debris content?

Measure the water flow rate through the unit (l/s per kW).

Is the flow rate within the recommended range of 0.0269 to 0.0537 l/s per kW?

Is periodic coil cleaning necessary?

Perform standard coil cleaning procedures compatible with heat exchanger material and copper water lines.
