Remove the plastic cap covering the rotating mechanism by pulling it away from the assembly.

Use a common screwdriver to adjust the screw.

Does the lighthead remain balanced when moved slightly up or down at mid-range?

Snap the plastic cap back into position.

Ensure the light is turned off and unplugged

Remove pods to access screws (if applicable)

Remove screws holding top and bottom housing together

Use a soft cloth to wipe the corners and surfaces

Ensure no components inside the light head are bent or damaged

Light Movement and Security Check

Check that the light is easy to move in its range of movement, and that it holds its position without drifting

Check that all components appear secure

Remove top housing and clean accessible parts

Check friction between light head and yoke shaft

Adjust friction between light head and yoke shaft if needed

Power off the equipment and secure it from being switched on again.

Ensure no cleaning fluid runs into the equipment.

Select cleaning agent to be used

Use a soft cloth dampened with the selected cleaning agent for basic cleaning of all surfaces.

Was a soft cloth soaked in isopropyl alcohol used for stubborn stains?
