Check for abnormal vibrations in the system, particularly the pipelines and capillary tubes.

Were additional safety measures required due to vibrations?

Ensure pipes are connected to the pressure equipment without load and stress to prevent mechanical stress.

Verify factory testing of pressure equipment

Test tightness of connections and pipe works after installation

Test refrigerant circuit for tightness according to EN378-2 or equivalent standards

Enter the overpressure applied using dry nitrogen

Ensure test pressure does not exceed 1.1-fold of the maximum allowable pressure

Enter the maximum allowable pressure from the name plate

Dispose of used oil in an environmentally friendly manner

Fill used oil into pressure resistant vessels

Fill vessels with nitrogen as a protective gas and close them

Mark vessels with the warning sign 'flammable substance' W021 from ISO7010

Open all shut-off valves and solenoid valves

Use a vacuum pump to evacuate the entire system, including the compressor, on the suction side and the high pressure side

Check if a 'standing vacuum' lower than 1.5 mbar is achieved with the vacuum pump shut off

Repeat the evacuation operation if necessary

Risk of damage to the motor and compressor: Do not start the compressor while it is in a vacuum! Do not apply any voltage, not even for testing!

Ensure no components or pipes are completely charged with liquid refrigerant

Verify sufficient volume is left above the liquids

Confirm only permitted refrigerants are used

Measure the precise quantity of liquid refrigerant to be charged

Check that the oil temperature is above 40°C

Charge the condenser or receiver directly with liquid refrigerant

Ensure blends are taken out of the charging cylinder as a bubble-free liquid

If necessary, add refrigerant while the compressor is running, charging on the suction side, preferably at the evaporator inlet
