Ensure no mixing of different brands or types of oil

Check the label on the air receiver/oil tank for the type of oil filled ex-factory

Ensure all compressor oil is drained at all drain points

Stop the compressor, close the air outlet valve and switch off the voltage

Depressurise the compressor by unscrewing filler plug one turn

Remove any dirt from the air cooler without using a wire brush or metal objects

Clean the air cooler using an air jet

Check the tension and condition of the belts

Remove any dirt from the oil cooler with a fibre brush

Is the oil cooler clean and free of dirt?

Remove the following components

Release the belt tension by loosening tensioning nut
