WARNING: Ensure persons removing filters are made aware of any potential hazards and that they are provided with any necessary protective clothing and equipment.

Ensure protective measures are in place

Is the filter used with hydrocarbon solvents?

Does the filter contain dangerous materials such as asbestos dust or radioactive chemicals?

Seal the used filter in a plastic bag prior to disposal

WARNING! Ensure power to the system is removed and power lead is disconnected.

Ensure the cabinet is safe to work on.

Check condition of pre-filters and replace if required.

Check the light diffuser is clean before switching the system on.

Check that the light is working.

Record the inflow air velocity at the working aperture.

Ensure the power to the system has been removed

Verify the cabinet is safe to work on

Wipe down the unit with only soapy water

Remove the front cover to gain access to the filter

Loosen the filter clamps from inside the bottom enclosure

Lift the filter slightly to break the seal

Place the filter in a plastic bag and seal the bag for disposal
