Use a small screwdriver to gently pry open the cover

Verify information about the proper replacement fuses

Fuse Inspection and Replacement

Slide out each fuse holder marked with an arrow

Check the filament for breakage

Unplug the power cord from the base of the lifting column

Move the table away from the wall to access the back

Use needle-nose pliers or fingernails to slide the fuse drawer from its housing

Use a mild, non-abrasive cleaner on a soft cloth

Clean the exterior surface without spraying cleaner directly on the instrument

Remove all jewelry before cleaning

Avoid scratching the bowl surface

Wipe the bowl gently without excessive rubbing

Use a soft cloth with cleaner to remove finger marks

Open the filter cover located on the rear panel.

If cleaned, ensure the filter is completely dry before returning it to the instrument.

If replaced, note the contact with Zeiss Humphrey Systems Parts Department for a new filter.

Shake the filter a few times to loosen trapped dust before returning it to the instrument.

Turn off the HFA II and lower the table

Remove the top access panel by rotating it counterclockwise

Allow the bulb to cool for approximately five minutes before handling it

Remove the connector cable by pulling straight up

Use a screwdriver to loosen the screw

Slide the wishbone-shaped plate away from you to release the bulb assembly
