Disengage process operations and verify all system pressure is relieved and the unit's pressure gauges read '0'.

Disengage main power supply and verify the Power light on the display is 'off'.

Remove the 'To Process' temperature probe and insert a 1/2" plug in its place.

Prepare an ice water bath and place an accurate digital thermometer in it.

Place the probe in the ice water bath.

Call the factory for diagnostic assistance

Is the control instrument determined to be at fault?

Send a new or reconditioned instrument as a replacement if the instrument is at fault

Return the defective instrument freight pre-paid for full credit

Was the defective instrument returned?

Pay for the instrument if it was not returned

Out of Warranty Service Incident

Call the factory for diagnostic assistance

Reduce process water temperature to below 85 degrees F.

Disengage process operations and verify all system pressure is relieved and the pressure gauges read "0".

Disengage main power supply and verify the Power light on the display is "off".

Remove the lift-off access panel to access the cooling cylinder.

Disconnect the AVT valve cable, the hall effect sensor cable, the pressure gauge and pressure switch lines.

Remove the 4 mounting bolts that hold the cooling cylinder to the pump volute.

Disengage process operations according to the procedure outlined in section 3.4.

Ensure all system pressure is relieved and the unit's pressure gauges read '0'.

Verify the Power light on the display is 'off'.

Remove the thermoformed front panel and set aside.

Open the hinged electrical cabinet panel cover.

Remove the large molex connector.

Shut down unit operations according to section 3.4 in this manual.

Ensure proper lock-out procedures are followed.

Ensure system pressure is eliminated and the unit's pressure gauges read '0' pressure.

Drain unit by removing the pump casing drain plug.

Remove the capillary connection from the cooling cylinder to the pressure switch.

Remove the brass elbow mounted on the pressure switch.

Remove the electrical connections to the pressure switch.
