150 Hourly Chassis Lubrication
Joint Lubrication:
Apply pressure lubrication until fresh grease shows at all four journal seals on each journal cross.
Lubricant: EP multipurpose lithium 12 hydroxysterate, NLGI No. 2. MIL-G-10924B in arctic operating conditions.
Spline Lubrication:
Apply pressure lubrication until fresh grease appears at the pressure relief hole in the “Welch” plug, in the yoke sleeve and at the end of the spline. Cover the relief hole with a finger and continue to grease until grease appears at the sleeve yoke sleeve.
Lubricant: EP multipurpose lithium 12 hydroxysterate, NLGI No. 2. MIL-G-10924B in arctic operating conditions.
Note:
Arctic conditions are considered to be consistently below 0°F (-18°C). DO NOT use arctic lubricants above 0°F (-18°C) for more than one hour and only under unloaded conditions.;
1 Daily Engine Coolant Level Check
Warning: Check the engine coolant level when the engine is cold.
Is the coolant level between the upper and lower level marks on the recovery tank?
Is there coolant in the recovery tank?
If there is no coolant in the recovery tank, proceed to the next step.
Is the coolant level in the radiator sufficient?
Are there any leaks in the cooling system?
Sign off on the daily engine coolant level check
1 Daily Engine Oil Level Check
Park the vehicle on a flat level surface before starting the procedure.
Check the exterior of the engine for any leaks.
If any leaks are found, describe them.
Remove the dipstick from the engine and check the engine oil level.
Use the engine manual supplied with the truck for determining the correct oil level and the type of oil to be used.
Sign off on the engine oil level check.

Is the oil level just at the level of the check plug or just beginning to drip out of hole?
Did you add oil through the check plug hole until oil just begins to drip out if the oil level was low?

Chute Pivot Points - Spray on Multi-Purpose grease
Drum Roller Track - Brush on multi-purpose grease
Drum Rollers (2) - Apply grease using grease zerks
Hydraulic Oil Reservoir - Check the oil level
Chute Pivot Ring – Apply grease to grease zerks
Hoses and Fittings – Check visually for oil leaks. Retighten as required
Check hydraulic hoses and system
Drain moisture from air tanks
Sign off on the daily mixer maintenance
