30000 Hourly / 5 Yearly Axis 1-3 Oil Replacement

Remove the (12 pcs) M6 screws holding the base cover

Remove the parallel arms

Remove the telescopic shaft

Remove the 3 pcs VK-covers

Remove the 3x6 pcs M6x40 holding the upper arms

Remove the 6 pcs M6x20 (A) holding the 3 pcs flange (B) and the 3 pcs upper arm sealing rings

Remove the 3 pcs M6x20 flange screws

Remove the flange cover

Remove the flange gasket ax 4

Run this procedure

30000 Hourly / 5 Yearly Axis 4 Oil Replacement

Warning: This procedure requires trained personnel with PPE!

Base cover removed

Gearbox and motor axis 4 removed

Oil plug removed and oil drained from gearbox 4

Volume of new oil filled

Oil plug refitted and Loctite 243 applied

Is the sealing ring on the sealing plug damaged?

If yes, change the sealing plug

Does the robot have two oil plugs?

Run this procedure

4000 Hourly / 2 Yearly Bar System Maintenance

Check surface of tube for cracks or damages

Check the distance between the bearing holders

Need to replace damaged parts?

If needed, replace damaged parts as described in the repair chapter

Sign off on the Bar System Maintenance

Run this procedure

4000 Hourly / 2 Yearly Joint Balls Maintenance

1.Check surface of joint balls for cracks or burrs.

– If necessary replace the part.

Removal

1. Remove the parallel arms.

2. Remove the movable plate.

3. Remove the joint balls.

Refitting

1. Refit the joint balls using loctite 243. For the best result, use spray activator (Loctite 7649) on the stainless joint balls. (Tightening torque 11 Nm.)

2. Refit the movable plate.

4000 Hourly / 2 Yearly Upper Arms Maintenance

1. Check the surface of the tube for cracks.

– If necessary replace the part.

Removal

1. Remove the parallel arm on the specific upper arm.

2. Remove the VK-cover.

3. Remove the six screws.

4. Remove the upper arm.

NOTE: Always check the condition of the sealing ring and the flange gasket.

5. Remove the two flangescrews (B) holding the flange (C). If necessary, change the sealing ring (A) and the flange gasket (D).
