30000 Hourly / 5 Yearly Axis 4 Oil Replacement
Warning: This procedure requires trained personnel with PPE!
Base cover removed
Gearbox and motor axis 4 removed
Oil plug removed and oil drained from gearbox 4
Volume of new oil filled
Oil plug refitted and Loctite 243 applied
Is the sealing ring on the sealing plug damaged?
If yes, change the sealing plug
Does the robot have two oil plugs?
Backlash Axis 4 Measurement
Attach the tool on manipulator
Place the indicator clock on a metallic surface placed underneath the manipulator
Apply torque 1 Nm, i.e. 10N on a distance of 100 mm from center of rotation
Decrease force to 0N
Apply torque 0,2 Nm, i.e. 2N on a distance of 100 mm from center of rotation
Register first measurement point
Apply torque 1 Nm in the other direction, i.e. 10 N on a distance of 100 mm from center of rotation
Decrease force to 0N
Apply torque 0,2 Nm, i.e. 2 N on a distance of 100 mm from center of rotation
4000 Hourly Telescopic Shaft (Stainless) Replacement
Remove the parallel arms
Remove the movable plate
Remove the upper set screw
Remove the telescopic shaft
Refit the telescopic shaft
Refit the upper set screw, use locking liquid (Loctite 243)
Refit the movable plate, use locking liquid (Loctite 243)
Refit the parallel arms
Sign off on the telescopic shaft replacement
4000 Hourly / 2 Yearly Upper Arms Maintenance
1. Check the surface of the tube for cracks.
– If necessary replace the part.
Removal
1. Remove the parallel arm on the specific upper arm.
2. Remove the VK-cover.
3. Remove the six screws.
4. Remove the upper arm.
NOTE: Always check the condition of the sealing ring and the flange gasket.
5. Remove the two flangescrews (B) holding the flange (C). If necessary, change the sealing ring (A) and the flange gasket (D).
500 Hourly Spring Units Maintenance
Check the forks for wear
Do the spring units make a grinding sound?
Apply grease to all wear surfaces if necessary
Is part exchange necessary?
Sign off on the spring units maintenance
