Fuel Filter Replacement
Remove the filter element (Item 2) [Figure 10-100-3]
Clean the area around the filter housing
Put clean oil on the seal of the new filter element
Install the fuel filter, and hand-tighten it
Remove air from the fuel system. (See Removing Air From The Fuel System on Page 10-100-3)
Open the vent (Item 1) [Figure 10-100-4] on the fuel filter housing
Squeeze the hand pump (priming bulb) (Item 2) [Figure 10-100-4] until fuel flows from the vent with no air bubbles
Close the vent (Item 1) [Figure 10-100-4]
250 Hours/ 1 Yearly Replacement
Warning: Always clean up spilled fuel or oil. Keep heat, flames, sparks or lighted tobacco away from fuel and oil. Failure to use care around combustibles can cause explosion or fire.
Warning: Diesel fuel or hydraulic fluid under pressure can penetrate skin or eyes, causing serious injury or death. Fluid leaks under pressure may not be visible. Use a piece of cardboard or wood to find leaks. Do not use your bare hand. Wear safety goggles. If fluid enters the skin or eyes, get immediate medical attention from a physician familiar with this injury.

Hydraulic fill cap (Item 1) and two rubber straps (Item 2) present and functional?
Oil cooler (Item 1) and bar (Item 2) present and functional?
Right side access cover bolts (Item 1) and cover present and functional?
Clamp (Item 1) and hose (Item 2) present and functional?
Side access cover and bolts present and functional?
500 Hours/ 1 Yearly Replacement
Warning: Ensure the machine is off and cool before starting the procedure.
Coolant replacement
Open the rear door and remove the rear grille
Remove the coolant fill cap
Attach a hose to the coolant drain petcock (Item 1) [Figure 10-90-7] located to the left of the oil filter assembly.
Open the petcock and drain the coolant into a container
Close the petcock and remove the hose.
Recycle or dispose of coolant in an environmentally safe manner
Close the rear door
2 Yearly Replacement
Warning: Ensure to wear safety gloves and goggles before starting the procedure.
Open the rear door and remove the rear grille
Remove the coolant fill cap
Attach a hose to the coolant drain petcock (Item 1) [Figure 10-90-7] located to the left of the oil filter assembly.
Open the petcock and drain the coolant into a container
Close the petcock and remove the hose.
Recycle or dispose of coolant in an environmentally safe manner
Close the rear door
Mix new coolant in a separate container. (See Capacities on Page SPEC-10-5.)
