Grease swing pinion and swing circle

Drain water and sediment from fuel tank and fuel filter

Check battery, cables and electrolyte level

Sign off on the 50 hours excavator maintenance

Check and adjust belt(s) if required

Clean spark chamber of Spark Arrestor Muffler

Note: The spark arrestor muffler, if equipped, must be cleaned every 100 hours of operation to keep it in working condition by emptying the spark chamber. On some models, the turbocharger functions as the spark arrestor and must operate correctly to ensure proper spark arrestor function

Replace diesel fuel filter every 250 hours

Check oil level in both final drive cases every 250 hours

Sign off on the 100 hours excavator maintenance

Oil replaced in both final drive cases?

Enter the hours since last oil change in final drive cases

Hydraulic fluid and filter(s) replaced?

Cooling system drained and flushed?

Sign off on the excavator maintenance

Check air cleaner condition indicator

Check indicator lights for correct operation

Check canopy or cab condition and mounting hardware

Check seat belt condition and mounting hardware

Check control console(s) lockout for proper operation

Engine oil and filter replaced?

Radiator, oil cooler and A/C condenser cleaned?

Primary hydraulic filter and reservoir breather replaced?

Alternator and starter connections checked?

Engine valve clearance checked and adjusted?

Sign off on the 500 hours excavator maintenance
