60000 Hours Fan Replacement
Warning: Only trained personnel should perform this procedure
Enter the current usage hours of the ACx 601 unit
Is there increasing noise from fan bearings?
Is there a gradual rise in the heatsink temperature despite cleaning?
Is the frequency converter operated in a critical part of a process?
If the above symptoms are present, fan replacement is recommended
Upload a photo of the fan before removal
Remove the bottom of the frame to withdraw the fan
Upload a photo of the fan after removal
100000 Hours Capasitors Replacement
Warning: This procedure requires trained personnel with PPE!
Enter the current hours of the ACx 600 intermediate circuit
Is the ambient temperature lowered?
If capacitor failure is suspected, contact ABB immediately.
Check if mains fuse failure or a Fault trip has occurred
Enter the ABB specified spare part number for replacement
Reform (re-age) spare part capacitors once a year according to ACS 600 Capacitor Reforming Guide (code: 64059629).
Sign off on the capacitor replacement
1 Year Heatsink Cleaning
Warning: The heatsink should be checked and cleaned annually to prevent overtemperature warnings and faults.
Heatsink fins free of dust
If cleaning is carried out in the same room where the unit is normally operated, use a soft brush.
Dust removed gently with a soft brush
If the installation can be taken apart and the cleaning is carried out in another room (or outdoors), compressed air can be used.
