Shut off all electrical power to the unit to avoid shock hazard or injury from rotating parts

Inspect blower wheels and bands for excessive dust build up

Is cleaning required due to dust build up?

Clean blower wheels and bands if required

Is the fan operating without vibration?

Verify all components are securely fastened

Disconnect power to wheel drive motor

Remove belt from pulley and position temporarily around wheel rim

Loosen set screw in wheel drive pulley using a hex head wrench

Remove pulley from motor drive shaft

Loosen and remove (4) mounting bolts

Install replacement motor with hardware kit supplied

Install pulley to dimension as shown and secure set screw to drive shaft

Stretch belt over pulley and engage in groove

Ensure the furnace is turned off before inspection

Verify that the area is well-ventilated

Inspection of Flue Product Carrying Areas

Inspect the flue product carrying areas for blockages or damage

Check for signs of corrosion or wear in the flue product carrying areas

Inspect main burners for proper ignition and flame quality

Ensure the machine is turned off and disconnected from power

Remove any covers or guards to access the belt

Measure the current belt tension

Is the belt tension within the recommended range?

Does the belt require tension adjustment?

Adjust the belt tension if necessary

Select the areas applicable for this procedure

Inspect the energy recovery wheel for visible dirt and debris

Is the wheel free from any visible damage?
