Zebra Ring Scanner RS5000x

Housing cleaned with alcohol wipes

Exit window cleaned with lens tissue

Warning: Disconnect the device from the host computer before starting the procedure.

Finger strap pulled out of the clasp/buckle

(RS5000 only) Edge of the comfort pad lifted and set screw located

Set screw removed with a Philips screwdriver

Trigger assembly turned counter-clockwise until the exit window and scan trigger align

Trigger assembly lifted off of the scan assembly

Replacement trigger assembly aligned with the scan assembly

Trigger assembly rotated 1/4 turn clockwise

RS5000 Finger Strap Assembly Replacement

Press down on the finger strap assembly release tab

Slide the finger assembly out of the trigger assembly

Align the new finger strap assembly with the slot in the trigger assembly

Push the finger strap assembly into the trigger assembly until the release tab clicks into place

RS5000x Finger Strap Replacement

Remove the strap from the buckle

Use a small flathead screwdriver to release the strap pin from the trigger assembly
