Move the sections using a forklift of adequate capacity

Lift the enclosure from the slots provided in the channel base on the transformer section

Ensure the inverter section is shipped with 4 x 4 posts attached to the bottom

Adjust rigging lengths to maintain the enclosure in an upright position

Ensure the angle between the lifting cables and vertical does not exceed 45°

Ensure ropes or cables do not pass through the holes in lifting angles or eyebolts

Use slings with safety hooks or shackles of adequate load rating

Bolt together the enclosure sections with 1/2 in. hardware supplied

Install and wire the fan assemblies

Follow all installation safety precautions

Is the correct power source available?

Does the installation site meet all environmental specifications for NEMA 1?

Is the chiller in the correct working condition and ready to be started?

Are power factor correction capacitors (PFCCs) located on the power source side of the drive?

Ensure the drive is positioned with ample clearance for cabinet doors and accessible controls

Additional notes or observations

Inspect the unit for component delivery and transit damage

Note damage on the carrier's freight bill and enter a claim

Report major damage to the local Johnson Controls representative

Ensure no damaged equipment is installed or energized

Ensure all switches and circuit breakers are opened

Disconnect devices not intended for dielectric test, such as input surge suppressors

Set all devices to their normal off position before energizing incoming power

Perform dielectric test at 2.25 times the nominal system voltage plus 2,000 V phase-to-ground and phase-to-phase

Was the dielectric test performed by qualified personnel?

Did the light or buzzer indicate failure with an output current between 1.5 mA and 2.0 mA for every 1,000 V applied?

Verify MVVSD ratings match system data

Remove all blocks or temporary braces used for shipment

Clean out all metal chips, scrap wire, and other debris

Is there an appreciable accumulation of dust or dirt?

Clean the enclosure using a brush, vacuum cleaner, or a clean lint-free brush

Check the integrity of all bus bar supports for secureness and damage
