Turn OFF the main power supply and put up the required warning sign, e.g. 'Do not turn the power on!'

Install a switch-on guard as prescribed.

Before removing the connector of the encoder cable to perform maintenance or inspection, connect the spare battery unit.

If a battery alarm appears or after the robot has been operated for 36,000 hours, the battery must be exchanged.

The battery units are installed as shown in the figure 'The location of the battery unit.'

If a battery alarm occurs in the robot controller, the battery pack must be changed using the following procedure:

Wiring Harness Replacement (S-, L-, U-, R-, B-, and T-Axis): Was the wiring harness replaced?

Wiring Harness Replacement (B- and T-Axis): Was the wiring harness replaced?

Protective Tube: Refer to the manual 'OPTIONS FOR PROTECTIVE TUBING (VELCRO TYPE) REPLACING PROCEDURES'.

Fastening Bolts of the Base Plate: Tighten loose screws (replace if necessary).

Fixing Screws of the Cover: Tighten loose screws (replace if necessary).

Power Input Module: Check for loose connections.
