USA Scientific Adjustable Volume Pipet Multi-Channel 0.5–10µl

Check the pipet for external contamination

Ensure the tip cone is clean and undamaged

Was the pipet placed under UV light?

Fully depress the tip ejector button and pull the tip ejector down

Unscrew the tip holder and the piston unit counter clockwise

Degrease the piston using an alcoholic disinfectant

Re-lubricate the piston with original USA Scientific piston grease

Remove and replace pipet filter if necessary

Calibration & Alignment Preparation

Use TipOne® pipet tips and attach securely

Ensure pipet, pipet tips, and water are at the same temperature

Pre-wet each tip with distilled water at least three times

Pipet evenly and slowly, holding the pipet upright

Immerse no more than 3mm of the pipet tip into the liquid when taking a sample

Position the pipet at an angle of 30–45° to the inner wall of the tube when dispensing liquid

Loosen the tip cone by rotating it once (single-channel only)

Set autoclave temperature to 121°C

Set autoclave pressure to 1 bar

Set autoclave time to 20 minutes

Dry the pipet at low temperature

Remove the sealing ring from the tip cone using the auxiliary tool

Reassemble the pipet in the reverse order
