USA Scientific Adjustable Volume Pipet Single-Channel 20–200µl

Fully depress the tip ejector button and pull the tip ejector down

Carefully unscrew the tip cone by turning the auxiliary tool counter clockwise

Degrease the piston using an alcoholic disinfectant and re-lubricate with original USA Scientific piston grease

Was the piston replaced due to damage?

Reassemble the pipet in the reverse order

Disassembling The Lower Housing Of The Pipet

Fully unscrew the lower housing by turning counter clockwise (Fig. 9)

Squeeze with finger and thumb on either side of the tip ejector to release it

Pull both clips down and rotate the lower housing through 180° (Fig. 10)

Loosen the tip cone by rotating it once (single-channel only)

Set autoclave temperature to 121°C

Set autoclave pressure to 1 bar

Set autoclave time to 20 minutes

Dry the pipet at low temperature

Check the pipet for external contamination

Ensure the tip cone is clean and undamaged

Place the pipet under UV light if necessary

Ensure the following conditions are met

Is the pipet seal broken or dripping?

Is the density of the liquid different from that of water?

Are there any temperature differences between the pipet, liquid, and air?

Was the liquid pipetted slowly and evenly?

Adjust the pipet to the required nominal volume
