USA Scientific Adjustable Volume Pipet Single-Channel 0.5–10µl

Fully depress the tip ejector button and pull the tip ejector down

Carefully unscrew the tip cone by turning the auxiliary tool counter clockwise

Degrease the piston using an alcoholic disinfectant and re-lubricate the piston with original USA Scientific piston grease

Was the piston damaged and replaced?

Reassemble the pipet in the reverse order

Disassembling The Lower Housing Of The Pipet

Fully unscrew the lower housing by turning counter clockwise (Fig. 9)

Squeeze with finger and thumb on either side of the tip ejector to release it

Pull both clips down and rotate the lower housing through 180° (Fig. 10)

Check that all the parts are in place

Clean the internal components thoroughly

Is the piston lubrication necessary?

Lightly lubricate the piston if necessary

Additional notes or observations

Loosen the tip cone by rotating it once (single-channel only)

Set autoclave temperature to 121°C

Set autoclave pressure to 1 bar

Set autoclave time to 20 minutes

Dry the pipet at low temperature

Fully depress the tip ejector button and pull the tip ejector down

Unscrew the tip holder and the piston unit counter clockwise

Degrease the piston using an alcoholic disinfectant

Re-lubricate the piston with original USA Scientific piston grease

Remove the pipet filter from the tip cone

Is the piston or spring damaged?
