Unplug fan from fan power supply plug located on the front face of the fan housing

Remove the fan blade nut and fan blade

Remove the two mounting bolts and remove the fan assembly from the fan housing

Remove the three fan motor mounting screws from the back of the fan motor

Ensure the system is powered off

Gather necessary tools and equipment

Remove the right end coil cover

Remove the cap from the bottom of the valve

Adjusting the Superheat Setting

Set the superheat setting between 6°F and 10°F

Select the superheat setting for the system type

Ensure the refrigeration unit is turned off before cleaning.

Remove all products from the case.

Use mild detergent and warm water to wipe out the inside of the case.

Ensure no abrasive cleaner is used.

Clean the interior glass to reduce fogging and increase visibility.

Wash down all glass doors with glass cleaner.

Ensure the following tools are available

Is the door hinge in the way of the frame screws?

Back-out and retain the frame screws securing the J-strip

Remove the door hinge if necessary to access frame screws

Score and remove the clear silicone bead with a razor blade

Remove the J-strip and excess silicone

Remove the damaged edge trim piece starting from the top

System Pressurization and Leak Check

Pressurize the system and record the pressure reading

Perform triple evacuation to a minimum of 500 microns

Charge the system with the proper refrigerant using 'hi-side/low-side' techniques
