Ensure the following tools are available

Is the door hinge obstructing the frame screws?

Back-out and retain the frame screws securing the J-strip

Remove the door hinge if obstructing the frame screws

Score and remove the clear silicone bead with a razor blade

Remove the J-strip and excess silicone

Remove the damaged edge trim piece using a blade or screwdriver

System Pressurization and Leak Check

Pressurize the system and record the pressure reading

Evacuate the system using a deep vacuum pump

Perform triple evacuation to a minimum of 500 microns

Charge the system with the proper refrigerant

Unplug fan from fan power supply plug located on the front face of the fan housing

Remove the fan blade nut and fan blade

Remove the two mounting bolts and remove the fan assembly from the fan housing

Remove the three fan motor mounting screws from the back of the fan motor

Ensure the system is powered off

Remove the right end coil cover

Remove the cap from the bottom of the valve

Set the superheat setting between 6°F and 10°F

Select the superheat setting for the system type

Is the system a close coupled system?

Turn the valve stem counterclockwise to decrease superheat

Remove fasteners holding the heater to the floor

Remove front heater by pulling the retaining clip away from the coil and sliding the heater out

Remove rear heater by raising the heater retaining clip

Ensure retaining clips are free of the coil

Slide the heater up with the retaining clip
