Tire pressures at the proper level

Enter the tire pressure of the front left tire

Enter the tire pressure of the front right tire

Enter the tire pressure of the rear left tire

Enter the tire pressure of the rear right tire

Enter the tire pressure of the spare tire

Tire inflation valve caps present

The battery produces flammable and explosive hydrogen gas.

• Do not cause a spark from the battery with tools.

• Do not smoke or light a match near the battery.

The electrolyte contains poisonous and corrosive sulfuric acid.

• Avoid contact with eyes, skin or clothes.

• Wear protective safety glasses when working near the battery.

The fluid (electrolyte) level must be between the upper and lower lines.

When checking the fluid level, look at all six cells, not just one or two.

If the level is lower than the lower line, add distilled water. (See "ADDING DISTILLED WATER".)

2. Add distilled water to cells needing fluid.

If the side of your battery is covered, check the water level by looking down directly above the cell as illustrated above.

Warning: Battery produces hydrogen gas during recharging. Ensure sufficient ventilation.

Battery disconnected from vehicle?

Power switch on recharger off when connecting/disconnecting cables

Charging in an unconfined area?

Vent plugs removed before recharging

Engine and all accessories turned off?

Sign off on the battery recharge procedure

Warning: Do not remove the radiator cap when the engine is hot.

Coolant level between 'FULL' and 'LOW' lines when engine is cold?

Coolant level on or above 'LOW' line after engine temperature change?

If coolant level drops quickly, note any visible leaks (radiator, hoses, radiator cap, drain cock, water pump)

If no visible leaks, was a pressure test and cooling system check performed by a Toyota dealer?

Sign off on the coolant level check
