Tire pressures at the proper level?

Enter the tire pressure of the front left tire

Enter the tire pressure of the front right tire

Enter the tire pressure of the rear left tire

Enter the tire pressure of the rear right tire

Enter the tire pressure of the spare tire

The battery produces flammable and explosive hydrogen gas.

• Do not cause a spark from the battery with tools.

• Do not smoke or light a match near the battery.

The electrolyte contains poisonous and corrosive sulfuric acid.

• Avoid contact with eyes, skin or clothes.

• Wear protective safety glasses when working near the battery.

The fluid (electrolyte) level must be between the upper and lower lines.

When checking the fluid level, look at all six cells, not just one or two.

If the level is lower than the lower line, add distilled water. (See "ADDING DISTILLED WATER".)

2. Add distilled water to cells needing fluid.

If the side of your battery is covered, check the water level by looking down directly above the cell as illustrated above.

Warning: Battery produces hydrogen gas during recharging. Always perform in a well-ventilated area.

Is the battery installed on the vehicle?

If battery is installed on the vehicle, disconnect the ground cable.

Power switch on the recharger is off when connecting the charger cables to the battery and when disconnecting them.

Never recharge the battery while the engine is running. Also, be sure all accessories are turned off.

Warning: Do not remove the radiator cap when the engine is hot to prevent burning yourself.

If the engine is not cold, wait until it cools down before proceeding.

Enter the coolant level in the reservoir

The coolant level is satisfactory if it is between the 'FULL' and 'LOW' lines on the reservoir.

If the level is low, add ethylene-glycol type coolant for a proper corrosion protection of aluminum components.

Did the coolant level reach the 'FULL' line after adding coolant?

If the coolant level drops within a short time after replenishing, there may be a leak in the system.
