!NOTICE: To avoid possible damage to the fan motor, maintain a seal below the collector if servicing the dust storage device while the fan is running.

Empty dust container(s) (drum or bin) as necessary to minimize dust in the hopper.

If the optional 55-gallon drum attachment is used, empty when dust container is 2/3 full.

If optional slide gate is used, close gate before servicing dust container.

!CAUTION: Sharp edge of slide gate may result in personal injury while closing the slide gate. Keep hands clear when operating the slide gate.

Check integrity of gasket under drum cover.

Replace or reinstall dust container and open gate (if applicable).

Sign off on the dust collector maintenance

!CAUTION: Use proper safety and protective equipment when removing contaminants and filters. Dirty filters may be heavier than they appear. Use care when removing filters to avoid personal injury and/or property damage.

Turn power off and lock out all power before performing service or maintenance work. Turn compressed air supply OFF, bleed and lock out lines before performing service or maintenance work.

Use care with any power assisted tools to avoid personal injury and/or property damage from rotating parts. Do not operate with missing or damaged filters.

!NOTICE: Reference Appendix A for Clean Change Bag-In/Bag-Out Filter and Liner System information.

1. Turn off power to the collector.

2. Begin filter replacement at one of the top filter access ports. Continue by replacing the remaining filters in the top row. Proceed to replace filters in the next rows. Replacing filters row by row starting at the top will help limit dusting during replacement.

3. Remove access cover by turning knob counterclockwise.

!CAUTION: Do not use the access cover features as climbing equipment. Use safe practices for maintenance and installation. Do not drop filters.

Check the compressed air components for damage or wear

Drain moisture following the manufacturer’s instructions

Is the compressed-air supply ON?

Check the cleaning valves for leaks

Check the solenoid valves for leaks

Sign off on the compressed air components maintenance

Physical condition of the collector is good?

Describe any damaged components

Compressed air components checked and in good condition?

Describe any issues with compressed air components

Enter the pressure drop across filters

Describe any abnormal changes in pressure drop

Exhaust monitored and in good condition?

Dust disposal monitored and in good condition?
