Valve Pod Replacement
Valve Positioning
Select the valve position in Chromeleon or on the front panel display
Disconnect all liquid lines connected to the column switching valve
Remove Old Valve Pod
Unscrew and remove the locking ring using only your hand
Did you use the Pod Popper for removal?
Describe any issues encountered during pod removal
Install New Valve Pod
Adjust the valve coupling on the new pod to match the old pod's orientation
Main Power Fuses Replacement
Preparation
Turn off the TCC
Disconnect the power cord from its source
Fuse Replacement
Remove the fuse holder using a small screwdriver
Replace the fuses with fuses of the appropriate rating
Reinstall the fuse holder
Post-Replacement
Reconnect the power cord to its source
Rotor Seal Replacement
Stator Removal
Remove the stator screws located in the stator (→ Fig. 51, page 91)
Remove the stator from the valve body
Slip a flathead screwdriver underneath the rotor seal and remove the seal
New Rotor Seal Installation
Mount the new rotor seal on the valve body with the grooves facing the stator
Ensure the three pins on the shaft assembly fit into the matching holes in the rotor seal
Reinstall the stator (→ page 91)
Post Replacement Update
Valve Stator Replacement
Remove the three stator screws located in the stator
Remove the stator from the valve body
Mount the new stator on the valve
Tighten all stator screws hand-tight in turns
Tighten the screws firmly
Verify the stator is securely mounted
Check for any visible damage or misalignment
Clean the work area
Compartment Maintenance
Column Chamber Cleaning
Clean the column chamber using a lint-free cloth.
Use paper to absorb any humidity in the column chamber.
Seal Inspection
Inspect the seal installed in the front panel door.
Is the seal defective?
Valve and Drain Inspection
Inspect the column switching valve for indications of leakage.
Check the drain tube connected to the drain port on the bottom right of the TCC
