Temperature Controller Check Procedure

Remove all trays and pans from the oven.

Place a thermocouple or a reliable mercury oven-type thermometer at the center of the middle rack.

Turn the oven ON and set the temperature control knob to 400 °F.

Did the amber 'heat on' light go out when the oven temperature was reached?

Allow three cycles for the temperature to stabilize. Enter the number of cycles completed.

Read the thermocouple or thermometer immediately after the light goes out for the third time.

Loosen the two set screws that secure the temperature-control knob to the temperature-control shaft.

Remove the knob from the shaft, being careful not to rotate the knob or shaft.

Replace the knob on the shaft so that the indicator mark on the knob points directly at the temperature that was measured at the center of the oven.

Is the oven calibration correct after adjustment?

Record the final calibrated temperature of the oven.

Describe any issues encountered during the calibration process.

Disconnect the power supply to the appliance before cleaning.

Is the power switch in the 'OFF' position when cleaning the blower wheel?

Cleaning Low Temperature Stainless Steel Surfaces

Use ordinary soap and water with a sponge or cloth to clean normal dirt, grease, and product residue.

Dry thoroughly with a clean cloth after cleaning.

Removing Baked-on Grease and Food Splatter

Apply cleanser to a damp cloth or sponge and rub in the direction of the polishing lines.

Avoid rubbing with a circular motion to prevent marring the finish.

Disconnect the power supply to the appliance before cleaning.

Ensure the power switch is in the 'OFF' position before cleaning the blower wheel.

Turn the power switch to OFF and allow the oven to cool.

Remove the oven-interior racks and rack slide frames.

Wash the racks and rack slides with mild detergent and warm water.

Dry the racks and rack slides thoroughly with a clean cloth.

Check for foreign matter on the blades of the blower wheel.

Disconnect the power supply to the appliance before cleaning

Ensure the power switch is in the 'OFF' position when cleaning the blower wheel

Have the unit cleaned and adjusted for maximum performance by a qualified technician

Examine and clean the oven’s venting system
