Applicable only when an optional air line lubricator has been installed

Set the lubricator to deliver one drop of SAE 10 non-detergent oil for every 20 SCFM (9.4 liters/sec.) of air the pump consumes

Consult the Performance Curve to determine air consumption

Is the lubricator set on the lowest possible setting?

Describe any issues such as sluggish cycling or stalling

Inspect diaphragm plates for issues

Inspect intermediate bearings for issues

Inspect diaphragm rod for issues

Clean or repair diaphragms if appropriate

Shut off the compressed air line

Disconnect the air line from the pump

Remove Hex Head Cap Screws (1-F)

Remove spool part of sleeve and spool set (1-B)

Press sleeve (1-B) from body (1-A)

Pre-maintenance safety procedures

Shut off the compressed air line

Disconnect the air line from the pump

Remove diaphragm assemblies from diaphragm rod

Remove manifolds and outer chambers

Remove diaphragm assemblies from diaphragm rod

Avoid using a pipe wrench or similar tool to remove assembly from rod

Use soft jaws in a vise to prevent diaphragm rod damage

Wear approved eye protection and protective clothing at all times during flushing and disassembly

Shut off the compressed air line

Disconnect the air line from the pump

Flush the pump after each use for materials that tend to settle out or solidify

Flush the pump clean prior to disassembly when used for toxic or aggressive fluids
