Ensure no one is standing on or in front of the lip.

Engage and secure the SAFE-T-STRUT™ before going under the hydraulic leveler platform or lip.

Confirm that the leveler power is locked out and tagged out according to OSHA regulations and approved local codes.

Has the unit been run several times in extremely cold temperatures to confirm that the velocity fuse does not lock-up?

Check and record the oil level before making any adjustments.

Sequence Valve Adjustment - High Setting

Is the leveler fully raised and the lip not extending?

Ensure no one is standing on or in front of the lip.

Engage and secure the SAFE-T-STRUT™ before going under the hydraulic leveler platform or lip.

Confirm that the leveler power is locked out and tagged out according to OSHA regulations and approved local codes.

Is the temperature below freezing (32°F)?

Run the unit several times (5 to 10 cycles) to confirm that the velocity fuse does not lock-up with warmer oil.

Measure the time for the leveler to lower from full raised position with lip extended to the header stops (in seconds).

Engage and secure the SAFE-T-STRUT™

Check the hydraulic oil fill level decal on the tank

Is additional hydraulic oil needed?

Perform Daily and 90-Day Maintenance

Perform daily maintenance tasks

Perform 90-day maintenance tasks if due

Check and tighten control box mounting hardware

Retorque all shoulder bolts on SAFE-T-LlP®

Lubricate the unit with the proper lubricants

Lubricate lip and main cylinder clevis pins

Structural and Component Inspection

Inspect structure, hinge pins, clevis pins and cotter pins for abnormal wear

Inspect all conduit, boxes and electrical connections for damage
