Ensure RE-1005 does not include a vent flange

Verify the presence of a different style bump trap

Install PTFE feed tube on the feed tube before assembly

Feed the tube assembly through the seal washer to be placed between both flanges

Seal Washer and Feed Tube Assembly

Grease the seal washer and slide it down the glass tube of the feed tube

Push the PTFE feed tube onto the end of the feed tube (heat if necessary)

Condenser Screw and Retainer Assembly

Ensure the following parts are available

Place metal condenser screw over the narrow end of the bump trap

Find the split in the condenser screw retainer

Slide one end of the retainer between the bump trap flange and the condenser screw

Push the remainder of the condenser screw retainer down into the condenser screw

Is the condenser screw attached to the bump trap?

Seal Washer and Bump Trap Assembly

Ensure the following parts are available

Place the seal washer (2) onto the condenser flange (4)

Adjust the vacuum port (1) until the flanges line up evenly

Open and loosen the quick clamp (3)

Close the quick clamp (3) around the flanges and seal (2)

Ensure all preliminary parts are installed

Condenser Placement and Alignment

Place the condenser onto the pallet mount installed in section 5.1.

Align the side port on the bump trap with the matching flange on the condenser.

Place the greased seal washer between the two flanges.

Adjust the condenser until the flanges line up evenly.

Open and loosen the quick clamp.

Close the quick clamp around the flanges and seal.

Locate the vertical stand part at the bottom of the crate

Unwrap and prepare the top half of the vertical stand (5)

Position the male thread onto the female thread

Rotate clockwise to secure the two halves together

Loosen the set screw holding the 'L' shaped bar (3)

Attach the grey silicone condenser strap to the short end of the bar
