Engage and secure the SAFE-T-STRUT™

Check the hydraulic oil fill level decal on the tank

Is the hydraulic oil level below the required level?

Ensure no one is standing on or in front of the lip.

Engage and secure the SAFE-T-STRUT™ before going under the hydraulic leveler platform or lip.

Confirm that the leveler power is locked out and tagged out according to OSHA regulations and approved local codes.

Is the shuttle valve factory sealed and adjustments being made by a trained technician?

Is the temperature below freezing (32°F)? If yes, run the unit several times (5 to 10 cycles) to confirm that the velocity fuse does not lock-up with warmer oil.

Adjust the leveler to lower from full raised position with lip extended to the header stops in 13 to 17 seconds.

Is the leveler supported by the SAFE-T-STRUT™?

Check hydraulic oil level in tank

Is the hydraulic oil level correct according to the decal on the side of the tank?

Add oil if necessary, using only MIL-H-5606 or equivalent

Inspect all conduit, boxes and electrical connections for damage

Lubricate lip and main cylinder clevis pins

Inspect all weather seals (if installed) and replace if worn or damaged

Ensure no one is standing on or in front of the lip.
