1 Daily Leveler Maintenance
DANGER: Never be under the DUAL-DOK® 2000 platform or lip without:
Engaging the support latch by pulling the activation chain and pressing and holding the Lift DOWN button until the platform stops descending, as shown on page iii, Figure A1
Pulling the selector valve activation chain out to prevent scissors movement, as shown on page iv, Figure B
If lip needs to be extended, follow procedures on page iv, Figure C
Turning off power to the control box
Locking out and tagging out the main power source, as shown on inside front cover
WARNING: Follow all safety procedures of the facility where the DUAL-DOK® 2000 system is installed
Place barriers at ground level and dock level indicating that service work is being performed
Verify that inside and outside lamps are working
1 Yearly Hydraulic Fluid Change
NOTE: Frequency of maintenance may need to change if equipment is installed in an extremely dusty or hot environment. Use only MIL-H-5606 hydraulic fluid.
Normal Usage: Hydraulic Fluid Change
Select usage frequency
Engage the safety devices as described in the following Danger.
DANGER: Never be under the DUAL-DOK® 2000 platform or lip without:
Safety measures
Cover from the hydraulic fluid reservoir removed and cleaned?
Oil filter replaced?
Enter the amount of hydraulic fluid added to the reservoir
180 Daily Leveler Maintenance
DANGER: Never be under the DUAL-DOK® 2000 platform or lip without:
Engaging the support latch by pulling the activation chain and pressing and holding the Lift DOWN button until the platform stops descending, as shown on page iii, Figure A1
