Warning: Hot oil can cause burns to skin. Do not allow hot oil to contact skin.

Vehicle positioned on a level surface

Engine warmed up at idle for two to three minutes

Area around the drain plug cleaned

Drain pan placed under the crankcase

Drain plug removed and oil drained completely

New sealing washer installed on the drain plug

Drain plug and crankcase clean and free of burrs, nicks or scratches

Drain plug reinstalled and torqued to specification

Is the engine coolant level controlled by the recovery system?

Is there any drop in coolant level?

Select the type of coolant used

Is the radiator clean and free of debris?

Has the coolant been replaced in the last two years?

Has the pressure cap been removed while the engine is cool?

Warning: This procedure requires trained personnel with PPE!

Position the vehicle on a level surface. Allow the vehicle to sit for at least 30 minutes.

Cleaned the areas around and on the ADC reservoir and bleeder valves?

Removed the reservoir cap and diaphragm assembly?

Used a shop towel or suction tool to remove debris from the fluid and reservoir?

Enter the fluid level in the reservoir

Removed the protective caps from the bleeder valves?

Loosened one of the bleeder valve screws and allowed fluid and trapped air to flow from the fitting?

Tightened the screw when clean fluid began to flow?

Air filter, pre-filter - Inspect; clean often; replace as needed - Perform these operations more often for vehicles subjected to severe use. Emission-related service (Failure to conduct this maintenance will not void the emissions warranty but may affect emissions.)

2. Remove the air box cover screws, and remove the air box cover.

4. Remove the fabric type prefilter from the main filter.

Wash the pre-filter in soapy water, then rinse and let dry.

5. Reinstall the pre-filter over the main filter. Install a new main filter if needed.

6. Reinstall the filter into the air box.

7. Reinstall the air box cover and the seat.

Steering assembly check for loose nuts and bolts

Tire check for wear, improper inflation, non-standard or improperly installed tires

Check brakes for excessive travel or spongy feel

Check friction pads for wear, damage and looseness
