Ensure you have adequate foreknowledge to responsibly perform all operations.

Verify that the balance used for measurement is properly calibrated.

Conduct adjustment at minimum volume setting first.

Conduct maximum volume setting adjustment after minimum volume accuracy is verified.

Hold down the ejector button and turn the lock lever counterclockwise to make the adjustment section visible.

Rotate the push button until the hex socket set screw is fully exposed.

Select the model for filter removal

Insert the tips of the filter remover tweezers into the two notches on the sides of the filter and pull it out, straight in the direction of the arrow (Model 1000μL)

Insert the filter remover pick into the center of the filter end and pull it out, straight in the direction of the arrow (Model 5000μL and 10000μL)

Insert a new filter firmly and flush, into the nozzle cylinder

Ensure not to directly touch filters to avoid contamination by harmful or toxic substances

Handle the filter replacement tool tip with caution due to its sharpness

Use 70% ethanol on a clean soft cloth to wipe off the exterior of the Nichipet EX II.

Disassemble and inspect the device if symptoms described in the '7. Troubleshooting' section occur.

Check and follow the procedures in the 'Troubleshooting Table' to identify, isolate, correct, and/or fix the problem.

Was a highly reactive liquid used?

Perform disassembly and cleaning of the device if a highly reactive liquid was used or if contamination occurs.

Remove the ejector setting screw

Disassemble internal parts for Models 2μL, 10μL, and 20μL

Disassemble internal parts for Models 100μL and 200μL

Disassemble internal parts for Model 1000μL

Disassemble internal parts for Models 5000μL and 10000μL

Ready the pipettes, distilled water, balance, and tips 2 to 3 hours before use to attain temperature equilibrium.

Is the measurement room temperature controlled between 20°C to 25°C?

Is the measurement area free from direct wind influence from air-conditioner, heater, or fan?

Use Nichiryo Original Premium Tip Series and install it on the pipette from the rack.

Aspirate and dispense the volume using distilled water into the weighing vessel on the balance.

Use a vessel with a lid for the weighing vessel inside the balance.

Include a small amount of distilled water in the vessel before adjusting the balance and measurement.
