1000 Hourly Electrical Cabinet Fan Cleaning
DANGER: Prior to opening the electrical cabinet door, take care to ensure the plant-side power supply (circuit breaker) is turned OFF. Even when the main switch on the electrical cabinet is turned OFF, parts in the cabinet may still hold residual current resulting in an electric shock if touched accidentally.
CAUTION: If foreign matter adheres to the fan, it impairs cooling performance. Clean the fan periodically.
Turn OFF the main power.
Disconnect the plant-side power supply (breaker).
Open the electrical cabinet door.
Remove the screws A and remove the fan body with the securing board.
NOTE: Do not remove the screws B first. Otherwise, the fan body will fall.
Remove the power connector.
Remove the screws B and remove the fan guard.
1000 Hourly Lubricating Unit Tank Cleaning
WARNING: Turn OFF the main power.
Main power turned OFF
Suction filter and fill port filter removed
NOTE: Take care not to spill lubricant when removing the tank.
Inside of the tank cleaned with a neutral detergent
Suction filter and fill port filter cleaned with kerosene and blown with compressed air
CAUTION: Protective glasses must be worn to prevent eye damage from dust or foreign matter (those who are wearing glasses included).
CAUTION: Use caution when using kerosene, and make sure there is no open flame in the vicinity.
Lubricating unit remounted

7-4 Inspection and Replacement of Slide Seals
DANGER: Turn OFF the main power.
CAUTION: Before changing the slide seals, clean the inside of the machine and remove foreign matter and chips completely.
Any abnormal wear on the lip or scratches or damage due to chips found?
Machine cleaned and foreign matter and chips removed?
Bolts of the slide seal loosened?
New slide seal replaced?
Bolts of the slide seal tightened again?

DANGER: Turn OFF the main power.
CAUTION: Maintain oil at the correct level to prevent air being suctioned through the pump unit.
CAUTION: Keep oil free from contamination.
CAUTION: Clogged radiator causes oil pressure to be raised.
CAUTION: Clogged suction strainer causes pumps and piping damage.
CAUTION: If the oil pressure setting is incorrect, hydraulic unit malfunction and damage may result.
Turn OFF the main power.
Drain oil in the tank.
Loosen the hose band.
