Removing the filter and the bottom plate

Push down the tab on the filter and pull out the filter in the direction of arrow 1

Remove the fixing screws on the bottom plate (J) to remove it

Removing the fan casing (bottom half)

Squeeze the tabs on the fan casing to remove it in the direction of arrow 2

Remove the motor cable through the rubber bush

Removing the fan motor and the Sirocco fan

Remove the two motor fixing screws to remove the motor and the Sirocco fan in the direction of arrow 3

Remove the drain pan according to the procedure in section 10-3. Drainpan (page44)

Remove the heat exchanger cover according to the procedure in section 10-4. Removing the Heat exchanger cover (page45)

Remove the five fixing screws on the cover (K) to remove it

Remove the fixing screws on the heat exchanger (L) to remove it

Removing the filter and the bottom plate

Push up the tab on the filter and pull out the filter in the direction of the arrow 1

Remove the fixing screws on the bottom plate (D), (E) to remove it

Pull out the drain pan in the direction of the arrow 2

Ensure all components are removed

Is the area clean and free of debris?

Remove the drain pan according to the procedure in section 10-3. Drainpan (page44)

Removing the Heat exchanger cover

Remove the four fixing screws on the heat exchanger cover (F) to remove it

Remove the thermistor (G) from the thermistor holder (H) on the copper tube
