(1) Check with megger (across main circuit terminals and earth (ground) terminal)

(2) Check for loose screws and bolts

(3) Check for overheat traces on parts

(5) Check conductors for distortion

(6) Check cable sheaths for breakage and deterioration (crack, discoloration, etc.)

(7)Terminal block - Check for damage

(10) Check for unusual odors and discoloration

(11) Check for serious rust development

The inverter consists of many electronic parts such as semiconductor devices

The following parts may deteriorate with age because of their structures or physical characteristics, leading to; reduced performance or fault of the inverter

For preventive maintenance, the parts must be replaced periodically

Use the life check function as a guidance of parts replacement

--Cooling fan (10 years lifespan) - replace (as required)

--Main circuit smoothing capacitor (10 years lifespan) - replace (as required)

--On-board smoothing capacitor (10 years lifespan) - replace the board (as required)

--Relay output terminals - replace (as required)

-Check the surrounding air temperature, humidity, dirt, corrosive gas, oil mist, etc

-Check for unusual vibration and noise

-Check for dirt, oil, and other foreign material

Oil component of the heat dissipation grease used inside the inverter may leak out

The oil component, however, is not flammable, corrosive, nor conductive and is not harmful to humans

-Check that the main circuit voltages are normal

It is recommended to install a device to monitor voltage for checking the power supply voltage to the inverter
