Is the outside temperature 68°F (20°C) or below?

If the outside temperature is 68°F (20°C) or below, proceed to the next step. Otherwise, stop the procedure.

Is the compressor energized when pre-heat control is turned ON?

To activate the pre-heat control, cut the JK wire of the inverter P.C. board.

Was the JK wire of the inverter P.C. board cut?

NOTE: When the inverter P.C. board is replaced, check the Jumper wires, and cut/solder them if necessary.

Sign off on the pre-heat control setting

JS wire of the outdoor inverter P.C. board identified?

Select the desired defrost finish temperature

JS wire cut/soldered as per the selected temperature?

Sign off on the defrost setting change
