WARNING: Do not open oil fill cap until unit has been off for 10 minutes the air compressor gauge reads zero. Do not open while running.

WARNING: Do not run air compressor without air cleaner or with dirty element. Compressor damage caused by using a damaged element is not covered by the warranty.

250 Hourly Engine Driven Welder Maintenance

Stop engine. NOTICE − Do not run engine without air cleaner or with dirty element. Engine damage caused by using a damaged element is not covered by the warranty.

Maintenance Tasks

Precleaner Maintenance

Wash precleaner with soap and water solution. Allow precleaner to air dry completely. Spread 1 tablespoon SAE 30 oil evenly into precleaner. Squeeze out excess oil.

Element Maintenance

Replace element if damaged, dirty, or oily.

Overload Protection

Stop engine.

When a circuit breaker, supple-mentary protector or fuse opens, it usually indicates a more serious problem exists. Contact a Factory Authorized Service Agent.

1 Supplementary Protector CB1

CB1 is located on the front panel and protects the auxiliary power receptacles and weld/battery charge module from overload. If CB1 opens, none of the AC receptacles or weld/battery charge functions will work. Place switch in On position to reset.

2 Supplementary Protector CB2

CB2 is located on the front panel and protects 120V receptacle RC2 from overload. If CB2 opens, RC2 will not work. Press button to reset.

3 Supplementary Protector

CB3 CB3 is located on the front panel and protects 120V receptacle RC3 from overload. If CB3 opens, RC3 will not work. Press button to reset.
