Battery Replacement

Battery Removal

Ensure the meter is turned off before starting

Remove the battery cover by sliding it downward

Pull up on the battery ribbon to lift the battery out of the compartment

Confirm the meter is not connected to a computer during battery removal

Battery Insertion

Insert one CR2032 lithium coin cell battery on top of the battery ribbon, with the plus (+) side up

Check if the meter powers on after battery replacement

Verify the battery is correctly installed if the meter does not power on

1 Weekly Meter / Lancing Device / Cap Cleaning

Cleaning Procedure

Use a Clorox® Germicidal Wipe to wipe the outside of the meter and lancing device

Wipe the outside of the lancing device cap

Wipe dry with a clean, sterile gauze

Disinfecting Procedure

Clean your meter, lancing device and cap prior to disinfecting

Use a new Clorox® Germicidal Wipe to wipe the outside of the meter, lancing device and cap until the surface is damp

Allow the surface to remain damp for 1 minute

Wipe dry with a clean, sterile gauze
