Unscrew the four non-recessed hex. socket screws (11/5) and remove the motor (11/6)

Unscrew screw (12/2) and pull off the spring washer (12/3)

Ensure the pump is switched off and warm before changing the oil

Determine and ensure all necessary safety precautions are taken if the operating agent may present a hazard

Remove the oil-drain plug (9/4) and let the used oil drain into a suitable container

Check mark

Screw the oil-drain plug back in, briefly switch on the pump (max. 10 s) and then switch it off again

Remove the oil-drain plug once more and drain out the remaining oil

Check the gasket and reinstall a new one if necessary

Check mark

Screw the oil-drain plug back in

Remove the oil-fill plug (9/1) and fill in with fresh oil

Store the pump in a dry place at room temperature (20 °C)

Properly disconnect the pump from the vacuum system

Purge the pump with dry nitrogen

Change the oil in the pump

Seal the inlets and outlets with shipping seals

Set the gas ballast switch to the '0' position

Seal the pump in a PE bag with desiccant if shelved for a long period
