Switch off the pump and ensure it cannot run inadvertently (disconnect from the mains)
Check for deposits and clean as required
Use brush and industrial vacuum cleaner for cleaning
Pump Module Maintenance
3.7 Removing and Remounting the Pump Module
Ensure all required tools are available
Ensure all required spare parts are available
3.7.1 Removing the Pump Module
Drain the oil and remove the oil case (see Section 3.4)
Unscrew the hex. nuts (13/1)
Pull the entire pump module (13/2) forward off the tie rods (13/5)
Ensure individual pin-fitted parts are not loosened
Remove the gasket (13/3)

3.10 Maintenance Plan
Visually inspect the oil quality
Is an oil change required based on visual inspection?
Enter the neutralisation number according to DIN 51558
Is an oil change required based on chemical analysis?
Enter the dynamic viscosity at 25 °C
Is an oil change required based on mechanical analysis?
Refer to Section 3.8.1 for disposal of waste oil
6 Monthly Internal Demister Cleaning
3.4 Removing and Fitting the Internal Demister
Ensure all required tools and spare parts are available
Shutdown the pump and drain the oil
Remove the six recessed screws on the oil case
Pull the oil case forward off the pump
Remove the gasket
Remove components
Lift off the frame and remove the internal demister
Clean all parts and check their condition
6 Monthly Dirt Trap Cleaning
3.3 Cleaning the Dirt Trap
Remove the dirt trap from the intake port
Rinse the dirt trap in a suitable vessel with solvent
Thoroughly dry the dirt trap with compressed air
Check if the dirt trap is defective
Replace the dirt trap if defective
Ensure the cleaning agent complies with national/international specifications
Observe safety regulations when using cleaning agents
