Check if the oil level is between marks (9/2) and (9/3) at the oil-level glass.

Top up the oil if required, only after the pump has been switched off.

Does the oil need to be changed?

Select the type of oil used for refill

Refill oil only after the pump has been switched off.

Operate the pump for at least 0.8 hours with gas ballast

Confirm removal of condensed water from the oil

Ensure the pump is switched off and still warm before changing the oil

Determine if the operating agent presents any hazard due to oil decomposition or pumped media

Remove the oil-drain plug (9/4) and let the used oil drain into a suitable container

Screw the oil-drain plug back in, briefly switch on the pump (max. 10 s) and then switch it off again

Remove the oil-drain plug once more and drain out the remaining oil

Screw the oil-drain plug back in (check the gasket and reinstall a new one if necessary)

Remove the oil-fill plug (9/1) and fill in with fresh oil

Screw the oil-fill plug (9/1) back in

Visually inspect the oil quality

Is an oil change required based on visual inspection?

Enter the neutralisation number according to DIN 51558

Is an oil change required based on chemical analysis?

Enter the dynamic viscosity at 25 °C

Is an oil change required based on mechanical analysis?

Refer to Section 3.8.1 for disposal of waste oil

Ensure the pump is switched off and warm before changing the oil

Determine and ensure all necessary safety precautions are taken if the operating agent may present a hazard

Remove the oil-drain plug (9/4) and let the used oil drain into a suitable container

Screw the oil-drain plug back in, briefly switch on the pump (max. 10 s) and then switch it off again

Remove the oil-drain plug once more and drain out the remaining oil

Check the gasket and reinstall a new one if necessary

Screw the oil-drain plug back in

Remove the oil-fill plug (9/1) and fill in with fresh oil
