Warning: Always make sure to prepare the container for receiving draining water and bleeding air. Wipe up spilled fuel if any, because it may be in danger to cause fire if fuel sticks here and there.

Remove the combination sensor plug (4) at the bottom of the cartridge.

Remove the cartridge (3) with the filter wrench.

Install the combination sensor plug to the new cartridge (3).

Fill the new cartridge with the fuel and apply the thin layer of engine oil before installation.

Loosen the plug (2) and pump the knob (1) up and down until no more bubbles come out with the fuel.

Sign off on the fuel filter replacement

Warning: Prepare a container to catch the drained water possibly mixed with the fuel.

Warning: Always make sure to wipe up spilled fuel if any.

Loosen the combination sensor plug (1)

Drain the water as well as sediment accumulated at the bottom

Sign off on the draining process

For operation safety, never fail to perform periodic maintenance or make periodic replacement of the consumable parts listed in the following.

These parts may deteriorate in time and are susceptible to wear. It is difficult to estimate the degree of wear at time of periodic maintenance; therefore, even if no apparent wear is found, always replace with new parts within the prescribed period of replacement (or earlier if trouble is found).

Note that periodic replacement has nothing to do with guarantee service.

Replace Master cylinder and wheel cylinder cups, dust seals

Replace Rubber parts of brake booster;

WARNING: The temperature of the oil is very high immediately after stop operation of the truck. Be sure to start inspection after cooling down completely.

Drain plug removed from the bottom of the hydraulic tank

Hydraulic tank uncovered and strainer removed

Strainer cleaned with flushing oil

Drain plug installed after cleaning inside hydraulic tank

Strainer cleaned and dried with compressed air

Line filter replaced with a new one

Hydraulic oil level after refill

Warning: Always use Komatsu genuine oil FG090 for the gear oil.

Remove the oil filler plug and drain the oil through the drain plug.

After draining, tighten the drain plug.

Check the oil level after refilling.

Note: The same oil is being used at the differential case and the transmission case for the clutch model, while the specifications of the oil being used at those devices differs for the TORQFLOW type.

If yes, the TORQFLOW type requires inspection and replacement of the TORQFLOW transmission case in addition to those of the differential case.

Sign off on the oil replacement procedure.
