15000 Hourly Dump Truck Maintenance
CHECK, REPLACE STEERING A ARM MOUNTING BOLT
Check and replace the A arm mounting bolts, lock plate, and holder.
Please consult your Komatsu distributor when checking and replacing.
(1) A arm
(2) Front suspension
(3) Lock plate
(4) Bolt
(5) Holder;
2000 Hourly Dump Truck Maintenance
REPLACE STEERING, HOIST OIL TANK FILTER ELEMENT
Turn the cap of oil filler (F) slowly to release the internal pressure, then remove the cap.
Remove bolt (1), then remove cover (2).
Take out the element, then wash the inside of the case and the removed parts.
Install the new element, then install cover (2) with bolt (1).
CLEAN HYDRAULIC TANK STRAINER
Lower the dump body and stop the engine.
Turn the cap of oil filler (F) slowly to release the internal pressure.
Remove plugs (1) of the 2 strainers at the front of the hydraulic tank.
8000 Hourly Dump Truck Maintenance
Warning: Ask your Komatsu distributor to carry out the following works
High-pressure piping clamp replaced
Fuel spray prevention cap replaced
Starting motor and alternator overhauled
Sign off on the maintenance work
250 Hourly Dump Truck Maintenance
Warning: The parts and oil are at high temperature after the engine is stopped, and may cause serious burns. Wait for the temperature to go down before starting the operation.
Oil level in differential case checked and oil added if necessary?
Oil level in final drive case checked and oil added if necessary?
Grease pumped in through the grease fitting?
Old grease wiped off after greasing?
Drive shaft lubricated?
Drive shaft checked for any problems?
Battery electrolyte level checked?
Alternator belt tension checked and adjusted if necessary?
When Required Dump Truck Maintenance
Warning: This maintenance check requires trained personnel with PPE!
Check if the dust indicator displays 7.5 kPa
Check if the maintenance caution lamp lights up and the character display displays 'E01' and 'AIR FILTER' during operation
Check if there are no cracks in the lip of the vacuator valve
Check if there are no cracks in the dump body
Check if the bottom of the suspension cylinder cover is within range
Check if the brake oil pressure caution lamp is turned OFF
Check if the radiator fins or aftercooler fins become clogged or bent
Check if the engine fan is not rotating
